Colleen Brady Senior Strategic Project Manager

Colleen Brady joined Johns Hopkins University in 2025 to manage strategic initiatives for the office of the executive vice president for finance and administration. In this role, she leads and manages high-priority university initiatives from conception to completion, with a focus on the university’s federal research grant portfolio.

Prior to joining the team, Colleen spent six years at the US Agency for International Development, where she served as a program officer for research awards and advised USAID teams around the world on community-led approaches to program design, monitoring, evaluation, and learning. This work built on her experience as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Cameroon, and as an implementing partner and external evaluator for USAID and Department of State-funded programs. Colleen is passionate about leveraging quantitative data and rich qualitative learning to inform strategic planning in complex contexts. Colleen holds a bachelor’s in international studies and French from Washington University in St. Louis and a master’s in urban planning from Harvard University. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, climbing, and hiking.
